Bargains and Thrift Shopping

Another site that I've come across similiar to babysteals is http://www.mamabargains.com/.  Same concept but they have multiple items up for grabs through out the day.  Check them out!

I'd like to hear from you mommies that thrift shop.  Where to you shop?  What clothing items or accessories do you buy most?

Products and websites

Again, I hope you other moms can find some of this useful.  If it's useless at least it will hopefully be interesting to read.

For all Ages:
The most recent product that I've become a little obsessed with is BabyLegs.  When I first discovered them I thought they were ridiculous and just silly.  Well yeah they are not a necessity.  They are basically a leg warmer.  The site claims you can use them for arm warmers too, which I haven't but I suppose you can.  They also have cute socks etc.  However once you start using them you will get hooked!  I began by purchasing a few pairs from Target, I even bought a pair for a friend's daughter because they are so cute. Then once I started shopping on-line for them I found good deals.  Today I just doubled my stash because BabyLegs offered 50% off..yay.  With all the special codes I will never buy them full price.  I will only buy on discount.  They have all sorts of designs.  They even have them for boys and they are adorable.  This product is nice because it makes diaper changes easy, they are really cute and they are on size fits most.  They even have holiday/seasonal designs.  I also just found a tutorial on youtube on how to make your own.  I'm too lazy and I don't know how to sew but if you do, you can make your own in like 5 minutes and even use dollar store socks!  How cool is that?!

For girls:
The next cool product I have yet to try but I want soooo badly.  On babysteals.com today the steal was Ruffle Butts.  They are too darn cute.  Too expensive for my taste though.  If I can find them half off again I might invest.  I wish Target or Meijer had a generic brand.  Do any of you know if someone has a generic brand of these cute diaper covers?  Ruffles on little girls butts are too cute but for now I'm passing these up.  They also sell ruffle pants :)

For anyone:
Now I don't cloth diaper however I ran into a page on facebook called "Overly cute baby bottom's and accessories and her stuff looks pretty legit.  She has tag blankies, diaper covers and leg warmers!  All reasonably priced too.
One trend that I think is adorable may not be for everyone.  Have you seen the crocheted monkey hats?  I love these.  The best place that I've found them are on Etsy.  There are lots to choose from.  I think I may actually get one for my little girl for pictures.

For Boys:
The cutest things I've seen on little boys lately are the little punk rocker clothes.  Check out http://www.punkbabyclothes.net/  to find the cutest line of onesies, hats, and other accessories.

The other thing that I think is adorable on little boys are the t-shirts that say funny things like "I do all my own stunts" or like a friend of mine had her little guy in "ladies, lock up your daughters."  These things will never get old and when these cute little guys wear them it's too stinking cute.

Well we all know Lids right?  Well...have you checked out little lids.  This collection has all your (or dad's) favorite sports teams but for junior.  How cute!

Well a few websites you can check out if you have the time or will are:

I'm Trying This Again

Well I am the type of person that always has to be doing something.  Since I've recently taken on running I thought this would fill the void since I dropped my college class.  Well not so much.  Anyhow I've decided that when I have down time(mainly after kiddos are in bed) I'm going to blog about kids fashions.  It is something that I don't need much brain power for.  If you're a mom you understand this.  Please excuse the occasional grammar screw up too.  I hope at least someone can find this helpful.  Feel free to comment on certain products too.
